The White Wizard distinguishes itself from its colleagues (the White Princess and the White Knight), with its climbing stems that are coloured green. In addition, the White Wizard has beautiful large leaves with the characteristic white variegated spots.
So it is a climbing plant, which likes to climb up a moss pole indoors as well. Healthy plants grow faster, so to ensure that a plant grows well it is important to know the requirements of this fantastic plant.
Like all Philodendrons, a good soil that is permeable to air and water is extremely important. Philodendrons live epiphytically in the wild, which is why they can best take root and grow in a loose soil mixture.
Philodendrons have their origins in the tropical rainforest, so it will come as no surprise that this magnificent White Wizard also likes tropical temperatures and relatively high humidity. With a temperature between 18°C and 25°C and humidity above 60%, a White Wizard can grow amazingly fast.
Another requirement of this fantastic Philodendron White Wizard is that it should receive a large amount of indirect light. Its location should never receive direct sunlight, as this will cause the leaves to burn and especially the white parts to turn brown.
During the growing season, nutrition can be added to the water each month to ensure that the plant receives the correct nutrients.
