The Philodendron belongs to the arumesk family, the Araceae, Just like Aglaonemas, Alocasias, Anthuriums, Caladiums, Monsteras and Syngoniums.
This beautiful species comes from the tropics mainly from Central and South America.
The name "Philodendron" comes from the Greek and means trees hug. This is therefore typical of the climbing philodendrons, which climb into the rainforests against trees with its well-known air roots.
Indoors are now also becoming increasingly popular, even inexperienced plant lovers can often take care of these plants. Most Philodendrons are very easy to care. Philodendrons can easily adapt to the circumstances at home and thrive all year round in the living room without complaints.
